Time: 16:00 – 17:30

Venue: Practice Suite, 1st floor, Chrystal Macmillan Building, 15 George Square, Edinburgh EH8 9LD

On December 1st CNaM will host a timely panel discussion, co-sponsored by CeSeR, on the prospects for immigration policy and discourse following the US presidential election. As we continue to try to grasp the meaning of a Trump presidency for the world and for life in America, join a discussion about the issues of immigration and belonging that did much to fuel Trump’s campaign. Mike Slaven from Politics & IR, and Liliana Riga and Johannes Langer from Sociology, will offer some thoughts based on their research at the start of a broad discussion. Open to all; no need to register.
